Yubi for ChatGPT

Let ChatGPT use your Mac through Yubi. ChatGPT does the thinking on your own plan, Yubi does the hands

Yubi reads the window in front of you and works in it: click, type, scroll, open apps and pages. Connect her to ChatGPT and ChatGPT can ask her to do those things for you, while Yubi runs on your Mac.

Set it up

  1. Download Yubi, open it, and sign in under Account.
  2. In Yubi's Settings, under Privacy, turn on Let ChatGPT use Yubi on this Mac.
  3. Open chatgpt.com/plugins in a browser, press Add, and choose Create custom MCP server.
  4. Name it Yubi, paste https://api.yubichan.ai/mcp under Connection, keep Authentication on OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue, and press Create as a plugin.
  5. ChatGPT opens a Yubi page. Enter the email you use in Yubi, open the link we send you, check that the code matches, and press Sign in.
  6. The first time ChatGPT asks for something, Yubi asks you on your Mac whether ChatGPT may use her.

You stay in charge

  • Nothing happens until you turn ChatGPT on in Yubi's Settings, and Yubi asks you again each time she starts.
  • Every click, every bit of typing, every Return, Enter, Space or Delete, and every web address waits for your own yes on her card. ChatGPT cannot say yes for you.
  • If you have not let her click for you, she points at the button and you click it yourself.
  • She never reads password managers.
  • Press Stop, or her own key, and ChatGPT's session ends at once.
  • Disconnect in her Settings and every ChatGPT connection to your account stops.

What goes where

What Yubi reads goes from your Mac through our server to ChatGPT, and from there to OpenAI under its terms. Our server passes it on and keeps none of it. It keeps only which tool ran, when, and how long it took. ChatGPT does the thinking on your own ChatGPT plan, so these actions use none of your Yubi tasks. Details are in the privacy policy.
