Yubi for Claude
Let Claude use your Mac through Yubi. Claude does the thinking on your own plan, Yubi does the hands
Yubi reads the window in front of you and works in it: click, type, scroll, open apps and pages, merge PDFs. With the plugin, Claude can ask her to do those things for you. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any other MCP app can too.
Install
First download Yubi and open it once. Then, in Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add AnimaEcho/yubi-plugin/plugin install yubi@yubi
In Codex: codex mcp add yubi -- /Applications/Yubi.app/Contents/MacOS/yubi-mcp
In Claude Desktop, Cursor or another MCP app, add a local server with the command /Applications/Yubi.app/Contents/MacOS/yubi-mcp.
You stay in charge
- The first time an app connects, Yubi asks whether it may use her. The answer lasts until Yubi quits, and you can take it back sooner in her Settings.
- Every click, every bit of typing, every Return, Enter, Space or Delete, and every web address waits for your own yes on her card. The AI app cannot say yes for you.
- If you have not let her click for you, she points at the control and waits for you to click it.
- She reads the accessibility text of the window, never a screenshot, and never reads password managers.
- Only her own signed connector can talk to her.
Cost
Free. The AI app you connect does the thinking on its own account, so these actions use none of your Yubi tasks.
